Short and long quick connect shafts can accomodate several types of burrs including the flat half apple core, the rounded half apple core, the small apple core burr, and the cylindrical rounded end carbide burr.

The quick connect system allows veterinarians to quickly change from the guarded right angle disc system to the rotary shaft system that accomodates several types of burrs. This flexibility allows the PowerFloat to do all the dental work needed from miniatures to draft horses.With this attachment veterinarians can float the front 2/3 of miniature horse's teeth with the regular right angle attachment and then complete the task in the caudal 1/3 of the mouth with the rectangular rotary burr mounted into the tapered, guarded shaft.

The tapered design of the end of the long rotary shaft allows excellent visualization of the burr by the veterinarian while floating in the caudal part of the dental arcades in miniature horses.
